Hi there!
I'm Lisa-Marie Karvonen, the lead web developer and entrepreneur behind WP-Ensure.
- Started coding when I was six on my Amstrad CPC 464.
- Ventured into PHP and jumped on the WordPress wagon in 2004.
- Started freelancing as a sole trader in 2010 building sites.
- Began working on this platform in 2017.
- Born in Aberdeen, Scotland.
- I live in Finland with my hubby, son, two dogs, two cats and a reef tank.
I coded and developed this platform because I need it. I don’t have time for any extra fnaff surrounding my site. I want quality but I don’t have a lot of extra time to devote to attaining that quality.
I love building integrations, grabbing data, and condensing it into something useful, so I figured why not build something that does that for me and lets me know if there’s something amiss? Which is how this all got started. I wanted to ensure I wasn’t leaving a lot of loose ends on my website, especially regarding security.
It’s now 7 years later and the platform and auditing tools have grown considerably since then. It’s been through the testing grounds on customer websites, multisites, e-commerce and anything else you can throw at it. Now it’s ready to help other solopreneurs, small companies and maybe some big ones too who want an easier way to manage their sites.
